Kaden done flag football and done really well for the first time ever in a sport. He made two touchdowns this season and even got some flags off and even done great blocking. Kaden's teacher chose him for his unique journal writing's for a special writing thing for all the Independence schools. He had to write a story and then it was printed out and on display at the event for all to read. He really only cared about going because he got to trade in old books he was done reading for books other people had traded in.

Skyler's birthday was on Sept 3rd and he turned 3! We had his party on Sept 5th at none other than Chuck E Cheese. Yes this was his 3rd time having it at Chuck E Cheese which means all his parties have been there. Do i care NO! That was his special day and that is where he wanted to have it. We are not real wealthy and do not get to take the boys to alot of places so i have no problems making them happy and doing things when we can. Anyways he had a wonderful day and for days after wanted to go back to his birthday party and told me i had a good birthday mommy. That really does make it all worth it for me!

For those that have wondered why i have not been posting and putting up new pictures it is because for some reason the blog will not let me add pictures. Not sure what is going on but until it is fixed i can not add pictures. I am adding pictures on Facebook for those that have an account on there.
Kaden is doing pretty good only has a couple more weeks of summer school left. He had his last T-Ball practice Thursday night and he has a game Saturday and Wednesday and then we are done with our make-up games. He is very excited for school to start back up as that is when soccer starts, they do take sponsors so if you are interested in helping him out let me know. Two days after summer school ends then Kaden will be having his surgery to remove his tonsils and adenoids.

Skyler is also doing very well has a little summer cold right now but it does not seem to be slowing him down any. He is sleeping in his toddler bed finally and we are slowly working on potty training. He has entered the whiny and crying over everything stage which is not very fun at all. Put that with Kaden's meltdowns and my day is shot. Haha He dresses up in Kaden's ball uniform from when he was 3 and cry's cause he can not go out on the field and play ball but he does sit with the team and practices before the game. He also cry's cause he wants to go to school also.

This was the second half of the trip to Tulsa, Skyler decided to entertain himself

while Kaden decided to sleep the second half!

We finally made it down to Tulsa to visit and enjoy Easter there. It had been way too long since the last time we visited when Skyler was just a few months old. We have decided that we are going to try our hardest to make it there to visit more. It would not be so hard except for the darn gas prices, hopefully that will change soon. Anyways the boys had a blast and the Easter Bunny managed to find them even though we were not home.

Kaden got his progress report and he is doing very good in everything minus money he is below average in that one area. He is doing well in T-Ball too we have had three practices now and only had one rain out practice. We managed to sell all 80 candy bars so thanks to all our family and friends that helped support Kaden's ball team. Hopefully next week we will get a game schedule and shirts and hats for the team.

Skyler is doing well also, getting bigger and talking in complete sentences although he has been doing that for a long time now. Everyone that sees him while we are out can not believe that he is only two years old! You can tell it has been getting warmer as he has been playing outside a lot and both knees are scraped up a few times each. I think while in Tulsa he fell in the driveway at least five times. Dad and Mom both said the Easter Bunny should have brought him some knee pads. LOL

Well most of you know by now that after two trips to the doctors last week Kaden has pneumonia again. We did find out that he has an Iga deficiency immune disorder which is why he keeps getting so sick. Unfortunately there is no cure for it and nothing you can do to protect him from getting so sick all the time. We did get good news today that they will be taking his tonsils and adenoids out in July. He is looking forward to playing more T-ball and our upcoming trip to Tulsa.

Before we got discharged Kaden finally trying to have a little fun

As most people know by now Kaden was in the hospital for three days with Pneumonia and what everyone thought was the flu but turned out to be some nasty bug with flu symptoms. He started not feeling well Saturday and by Sunday morning was awful and just crying in pain so i took him into the ER only to be sent home after 3 hours. After we got home he continued to get worse and by Monday could not even sit up or walk as he was in so much pain and very sick. So i called and they had me bring him back in and after the first doc was just going to send us home again his supervisor came in and after taking one look at Kaden knew things were not right. She ordered all the appropriate tests and xrays and said he was not leaving he needed to be admitted. As she put it he is one very sick little boy. His heart rate was high and his pulse rate was high as was his white count which ended up being even higher the next day and his temp was 103.8. He was started on iv fluids as he was not able to eat or drink and keep it down, two iv antibiotics and tamiflu. We were put in a room on 6 Henson and he was under partial isolation which meant he could not go to the play room or anything and people could only come in if they wore a mask. He also was on a liquid/clear diet only, which he complained about after a day but then once he was cleared to eat he didn't want it after he ordered it anyways. We were discharged Wednesday afternoon and he is doing better now still not feeling 100% but better and went back to school like he wanted. He was really upset as Monday there was a field trip and since he was so sick he had to miss it. He told me that some of the kids at school were actually making fun of him because he missed it which i thought was horrible. Hopefully he is on the mend and we wont have to go through that again.

Everything is going okay right now both boys are healthy right now and Kaden's parent/teacher conference went really well. He was only below average in one thing and doing so much better than he was months ago. His teacher had a baby and so he has a sub teacher. She remembers him from last year and how much he struggled every day. She can not believe that this is the same Kaden. He came home on Wednesday and was chosen as outstanding music student for the week! He is so excited cause he got his picture taken and a certificate posted in the school, gets to pick a dessert of his choice and gets to have lunch with his teacher next week.

As most people know Skyler was pretty sick for about two weeks but is finally feeling better. He did have to go and get IV fluids as he went for almost 7 days with no food by mouth and only a few sips to drink here and there. Unfortunately the first 5 tries blew and on the 6th one it finally worked. After the first 3 blew they had someone come up from a different clinic with a doppler and using a bigger needle. Of course Kaden caught strep right before Skyler got sick so we had fun around here and he missed a whole week of school. Thankfully we finally got the ok to go and see ENT about getting his tonsils removed but we do not go there until the end of March.

Kaden has now been back to school for two days now and things are calming down and he is doing better at home again after that long break. It was a very long 3 1/2 weeks out and very trying but we made it. Hopefully when summer break rolls around things will go easier. It would have been easier but with the bad weather and the fact that they refuse to treat our street then we were stuck at home everyday. Kaden continues to do well in eating and for the first time ever in his life he started eating a little bit of lunch meat, every once in awhile he will have a hotdog, applesauce, ravioli and my 6 1/2 year old will finally eat pizza. Hard to believe the child who ate only chips, chicken nuggets and french fries is now starting to eat every day foods. We are very proud of him and he continues to do wonderful in school and we only hope that it will start carrying over to home more often as well. He has had a really hard time in his short life and we are so proud that he is doing as well as he is today.

Skyler is doing really wonderful as well he knows his Abc's, knows most of his letters, can count really well, he says Please and Thank you, learning colors but does know some and we are getting ready to start potty training again. Whenever you change his diaper or do anything for him he says Thank you Much. Although he has picked up a few of his big brothers tantrum tactics, he is doing great. We really do not spank him he usually will do a time out if he gets in trouble. Of course if we could get past the boy's fighting with each other most of the time then life would be a lot better. But i have hope that as they are getting older that will change.

Well we were at CMH Tuesday for 2 1/2 hours as Kaden has pneumonia again. Then that even Skyler started feeling bad and had a 102 temp the last couple days. So today we were there for another 2 1/2 hours as Skyler has raging ear infections that even Motrin and numbing ear drops are not helping. It has been a very sleepless week at our house. But they are both on meds so hopefully they feel better soon.

Last Saturday we took the boys to a special ASA screening of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and they did well. It was great cause they left the lights on and the sound turned down and the kids were aloud to talk or dance in the isles if they wanted to, it was even better cause we were the only ones there.

These would be pictures of what my little boy looks like if he even touches peanut butter. Yesterday afternoon he was playing on the fridge with the magnets with Kaden and he came into the living room and i saw some red spots and noticed he was scratching his eye and neck. I looked at him and he was starting to become covered in hives and his eye was swelling and his white part of his eyes was all red as well. had no clue what he had gotten into but gave him some medicine and it started to calm down and start going away. Well when i went into the kitchen to start dinner i saw him playing in the pantry which is supposed to be kept shut. He was playing With a jar of closed peanut butter that had been left on the bottom shelf after Kaden made his peanut butter crackers. And the jar had peanut butter all around the outside of it. And skyler was poking his fingers in it and smearing it around. When i saw him he did not put it in his mouth but just so everyone knows this will happen if he even touches peanut butter or eggs.

Not alot going on right now. Kaden still hates summer school mainly because they change classes like every hour i think. He hates that. He will be doing some pre op stuff next month to get ready for his tubes to be put in in August. Skyler is doing fine but is pretty banged up right now. He fell through the railing at Aunt Heather's house and scraped his leg up pretty good in a couple of spots and then the nest day scraped up the other leg. Then today i noticed he had scratched his lip and his neck somehow. Who knows with boys how they do anything. My laptop still does not have a screen and now our washing machine may need to be replaced.

The Ears Again

He managed a little smile when he was laying on my lap after we got home.

He passed out very quickly after i put him bed. You can tell he does not feel well and his ear is pretty red.

Skyler also passed out quickly as he had a short nap since we had to go to the doctors.

Well after being woke up at 12:30 am with Kaden crying about his ear hurting i gave him Motrin and Ear drops and he went back to sleep. He was up before me this morning and although he said it was still hurting he was acting like his normal self. So i gave him some Motrin and he went to school. I was going to pick him up early anyways as Tuesday is Therapy with Mrs.Wendy. Well about 12:30pm the school nurse called and said he was in complaining about his ear and it did indeed look infected. So could i come and get him now. Well we had to cancel Therapy but still had to go to Children's Mercy as we were able to get him an appt with the doctor. It was confirmed he had a bulging left ear infection and one was starting in the right ear. They did not want to put him through the 2 shots for 3 days again so we are trying the omnicef again at a higher strength and twice a day. The doc who saw him said he needs tubes. So hopefully when we see ENT on the 21st this will be scheduled to be done soon. They are afraid all these Ear Infections are going to cause him to have some hearing loss. Hopefully that will not be the case. He was also prescribed eye drops from what she is thinking is eye allergies as his eyes keep swelling up. He was feeling so bad that while at the doctors i was carrying him while he layed on my shoulder and pushing the stroller with my free hand. Hopefully his meds will start working and he will be feeling better in the morning as he has missed too much school due to Ear Infections.

Ok so after checking on him late Friday night and although is was still there it had not spread, but by Saturday morning he was covered pretty much everywhere but his face. He also had been running a fever and still having ear, head,stomach and throat pain. So off to the ER we went. Everyone thought he had Strep Rash but after that test came back negative that was ruled out. The verdict is that he came in contact with something he is highly allergic too and because of this we now have to start carrying around epi pens for him again. What it was is hard to tell but it was enough to make this go on for days. Except for School he has only been at home and these episodes happened at home. He was given more benadryl and put on Zyrtec daily. After it did end up spreading to his face that night i am happy to report that by Sunday evening all was gone and he has not broken out since. While there they did check his ears again and even though we had just got done taking Omnicef for almost 2 weeks both ears were still infected and full of fluid. So he had to get Rochepin shots 2 Saturday go back and 2 on Sunday and then go back and get 2 today. I am happy to report that his left ear is looking good and his right ear is getting better. Let's hope that from here things continue to get better.

Allergic maybe Not!

Ok we may have to take him to the doctor tomorrow. As before he left for school this is what we saw. We gave him some benadryl and put a note in his folder to let his teacher know that it should go away shortly just like the night before. Well shortly after he got to school his teacher sent him to the nurse and they said we had to come and get him. I totally thought it was an allergic reaction but today it never fully went away and then this afternoon it started back up again. I gave him some more benadryl and it did start going away but not fully. If you see it is under both his armpits as well and this afternoon spread to his back and arms. So i no longer think it is an allergic reaction. I need a break as we just got both the boys feeling well again and now this happens. The fun is never ending.

Ok seriously apparently there is something that Kaden is still allergic to. There is also a single hive about the size of a nickel further down his back and the back off one of his legs looks like this as well. To make matters worse he kept telling us he was itching so much and we told him to get his hand out of his pants, quit playing around and eat. Little did we know unlike normal he actually had a problem this time that was causing him to mess around. Makes you feel like you are a crappy parent.

He is doing lots better now but does he not look pitiful? Kaden had his first of three appointments today and will be having some testing done on Monday. I will update more at a later time i have not been sleeping well and am completely worn out after the two appointments we had today and we have one tomorrow evening.

Kaden had to go to the doctor again today. Even though we just finished his antibiotic a week ago his ears are either still infected or they are infected again. We have been every month since November with ear infections. So after saying he needs to be put on a $150 medicine (yes his ears are that bad) they have given the ok to go and talk to the ENT about tubes. So i will be calling tomorrow to get an appt set up for that. Like we did not have enough appts already. lol Nobody can say my life is boring and i just sit around all the time. lol

The boys are doing ok right now. Skyler woke up with a runny nose so hopefully he is not getting sick. Kaden did not have a very good day at school and had to have behavior intervention today. He is still going to both therapies once a week and in the above picture is part of therapy which is messy time. We are talking with his doctors and think we finally have a diagnosis of what is going on with him which i will talk about more in a later post. He is having a hard time but hopefully things are moving in the right direction.

Sorry that it has taken so long to update my laptop had to be sent off to be fixed and i just got it back this evening. I will try and do better.

We had a blast going to Sesame Street Live yesterday. Thank you Grandma Marie for the great gift. Kaden did not know anything about it until we got there and he was so happy about his surprise. We talked with Skyler the night before and he was smiling and laughing although he probably had no idea what we were saying. He too loved it so much so that he had a few fits during the show because he wanted to go up on stage with the characters. He had a fit before the show when we got to meet the characters after our turn he wanted to keep going up there. They both enjoyed it very much.

Dentist

The boy's got up early this morning before daylight and we headed to the dentist office. They both done really well. Kaden got his cleaned first and had nothing wrong except for the one filling they had put in when they done his surgery in July has fallen out. His teeth shifted on the top a little and she things it pushed the filling out. She said where the filling is at is a place that is hard to keep it in. He will go back in March to have it put back in. His bottom two front teeth are getting pretty loose she said and will be coming out before long so he will have no teeth on the top or bottom in the front. She said it will probably be another 6-8 months before his top ones will start to come in.

Skyler went for his first check up. He was not happy about it and screamed the entire time but done really well for his age. He also did not have any cavities and will go back in 6 months.

Yes it is true i got called to pick Kaden up from school at 10:30 this morning. Went to the doctor and they said both ears still have a bunch of fluid and redness. So we are doing more Augmentin and if within two months we can not get them to stay healed they will be putting tubes in his ears. Yes Finally i have been trying to get them since he was a baby. We are watching to make sure he does not get the pneumonia again for a fourth time.

Skyler too is not feeling well but is talking up a storm. He says choo choo train, cookie, baby, please, thank you, love you, and more. He has gotten to the fit throwing stage and if he gets mad will cry and run off to the corner.

The boy's do not know it but we used their Christmas money from Grandma Marie and they are going to Sesame Street live on the the 31st. They will get to have milk and cookies with the characters before the show.

Well normally i would have just been getting home from Kaden's Therapy but we were pulling out of the drive way and i noticed the tire was completely flat. So we had to reschedule, Tommy changed the tire with the 45mph winds and freezing cold. Kaden was completely distraught by this change of events and had a big meltdown in tears. It took awhile but i got him calmed down and he knows we will be going on Wednesday evening now. On the plus side his body seems to be accepting the pneumonia vaccine he had. He tested positive for Dog,Grass,dust mites and roaches allergies.

Skyler has only been tested for Eggs and Peanuts so far and he has tested positive for both. Within a minute of the skin test he started breaking out so there was no doubt there. He is teething still but it looks like most of his teeth are almost in so hopefully that will be over soon. He has also been fighting a running nose for a few days and now he has added a cough to that. We both must be fighting it together as i have a sore throat, cough and losing my voice.

Voice your opposition to the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA ) (PL 110-787) by mailing one used piece of clothing (please mail clean clothing only) to your Senators and Congressmen. Let them know how you feel about this new law. By mailing your Senators and Congressmen the used clothing it will draw more attention to the situation than just a letter. A letter takes up little office space, the clothing will pile up and become an eye sore. Imagine if each Senator and Congressmen received just 1,000 letters with a piece of clothing in it. Skyler is still loving the car as long as Kaden does not push or pull him in it. He allows Tommy and i to do it but he screams loud if Kaden tries to. Kaden is feeling a little crummy tonight but we are pretty sure it is the break out he had at Tommy's parents tonight from their dogs. His eye swelled up and his face got pretty pale and blotchy. Sometimes he is fine around the dogs and other times not so much. It seems to happen more if the dogs get in his face or he wipes his hand on his face. Of course it did not help that he deiced to cuddle in the blanket on the couch where the dogs sit alot.

I finally opened up Skyler's car and put it together all by myself. He was not happy having to wait and was whining and crying while i was trying to get it together. The boys are doing ok, Skyler has a pretty horrid diaper rash right now as he has the stomach bug. Kaden is feeling a lot better and is ready to go back to school. Since he was sick before the break he has been out longer than the other kids so he is getting bored. Would you believe he is already making a Christmas list for next year and has already made Santa pictures.

Monday and Tuesday we have a total of five doctor's appts. One is for the boys to get their flu shots and see if the Pneumonia vaccine took which we know did not work as he has Pneumonia.

Well although he enjoyed being home from school and playing in all the snow. Kaden is sick and has been since he came inside yesterday. So although there is school today Kaden is staying home. I figured why send him when they would end up calling me to get him anyways. Skyler was running a fever last night but he kinda has been the last few days as he has three teeth coming in. He has no other symptoms so hopefully he does not catch what Kaden has. While Skyler has not even touched the presents, Kaden can not leave them alone is dying to open just one he says. He told me mommy i was good at school and home can i open one now? Well i have to go Skyler just woke up.

Skyler's Injury

Skyler tripped and fell right into the handle on the drawer in the kitchen. Unfortunately his head hit it pretty hard and left a nasty spot right in the middle of his forehead. We are lucky though as this is really his first major injury so he is doing better than his brother.

Kaden loves to dress up in costumes and play. This one i got on clearance at Wal-Mart for $1.25

Skyler and Tommy are both sick. Kaden and I as of now feel fine. Kaden started on a new medicine and he is doing alot better, especially at school. His teacher said he is not having as many problems the major one right now is getting him to stop talking non stop and too fast. He was almost suspended off the bus but he is doing better there as well. Let's home things are going in the right direction for him. He is so smart and his teacher said he has scored super high on them. He loves to build with blocks and doing arts and crafts is his favorite as well. He spends hours in the basement making stuff. He recently made a book for his teacher and he done really well. He even made a front and back cover that matched and lots of pages in the middle. He made sure to draw or write on each page. I know that some family and friends question if we are doing the right thing with Kaden as they think that everything is fine and he is a normal 5 year old boy. As his parents we too did not want to have to go down this route, but you also have to understand that not everyone sees what we and the teacher's go through everyday with him. I know plenty have seen him act out but try multiplying what you see by about 5 and that is what we see alot of. He is super sweet and loving but can have a complete the world is ending meltdown fast. We love both our boys equally and try to keep things equal between them. That is not always easy as Skyler has to sometimes wait so that we can tend to Kaden. I am still planning on returning to work hopefully still this school year but i may wait until next school year. It depends on how things go. At the beginning of the school year they were talking about either taking Kaden to half days or pulling him out till next year, and i have had to go pick him up several times. So we will see how things keep going and go from there.

Skyler is now a pretty much mastered walker. He still falls but can walk all over now. Kaden had his appointment with the Occupational Therapist last Wednesday and he was diagnosed with the Sensory Disorder he will be starting 12 weeks of therapy 1x a week with a reevaluation in 4 weeks to see how he is doing.

And of course Halloween Eve i had to take Kaden to the ER with a Ear Infection. He goes on Wednesday to see the OT so once we have the results of that i will let everyone know.

Kaden prefers to sleep under a million blankets including a 15 pound weighted blanket and the KU pillow Uncle Justin gave him on top of him. Most times his head is covered as well.

Almost 3 in this picture and oh so adorable.

Well i have been hesitant to write anything about Kaden seeing this new world renowned doctor. But we did go and learned alot about Kaden and how is body and mind works a little better. We are already decreasing his 3 medications. This new doctor is having him seen by the O.T. Department at Children's Mercy for a complete evaluation as he thinks Kaden has been somewhat misdiagnosed and that he has Sensory Integration Disorder. Here is the definition for anyone that is not familiar with it-

Sensory integration disorder or dysfunction (SID) is a neurological disorder that results from the brain's inability to integrate certain information received from the body's five basic sensory systems. These sensory systems are responsible for detecting sights, sounds, smell, tastes, temperatures, pain, and the position and movements of the body. The brain then forms a combined picture of this information in order for the body to make sense of its surroundings and react to them appropriately. The ongoing relationship between behavior and brain functioning is called sensory integration (SI).

We have filled out the appropriate papers and are waiting to have the appointment scheduled sometime soon. So hopefully we will have some answers sometime soon. He has been going to a new place for Behavior Therapy for the past month and while up till now it has mainly been about collecting background information so there has been no change in him. But i am very hopeful as this place has nothing but rave reviews. While most everyone knows that we started noticing things with Kaden around 1 1/2 but were hoping it was just stuff that he would outgrow when he was no longer a toddler. Unfortunately that did not happen and things progressively got worse with him. He has his moments when he is fine and seems to be doing good but that can all change very quickly with him. Everyday i pray for the wisdom and strength to help him with whatever is going on in him.

It is so hard as i was very fearful to have another child especially a boy knowing the troubles that Kaden has had. But God had other plans for us and decided to bless us with Skyler a boy even though we thought he was a girl. Skyler is fast approaching the age Kaden was when we started seeing things different in him. I have been so stressed with Kaden and knowing that it could happen again. But i can ease the stress about Skyler as most of you know he really is the complete opposite of his big brother. I have also been reassured by Kaden's doctor that it is a very very slim possibility that Skyler too would have problems and with him not showing any of the signs that Kaden did we really have nothing to worry about.

I know i usually update about much happier things but i really needed to vent a little and this seemed like the perfect place to do it. So thanks for listening and i will update more about this when we know a little more.

I know i am slacking but Skyler and i have been sick. Skyler is doing better but still not feeling all that great. His party went ok and he had some fun. He is talking alot and saying new words all the time. He is still not walking but you can tell he is so close.

Kaden is doing a little better at school. And the best news of all is it looks as if he has outgrown his food allergies. He is allergic to dust,pollen,grass,mold,cockroaches and dogs. Maybe something else too i can not remember right now.

Skyler is doing good he had to get three shots today and the doctor wants to keep on formula for awhile longer. He will go to the Next Step Soy formula after we run out of Nutramigen and then he will go to Next Step Enfamil regular. If he does ok on that we will try him on regular milk, if not he will be put on soy milk. He is about 19 pounds and 30 1/2 inches long.

My Wallet was Stolen today

Today was a bad today. While shopping at Children's Orchard to get the boys some clothes my wallet was stolen from the stroller where Skyler was sitting. The two women got everything including all my cash, used my debit and credit cards and has my id and everything. We found out who did it and it was somebody that was there selling stuff to Children's Orchard and had talked to me acting like they were trying to help me find it, when all along her and her friend had taken it. We have camera footage from where they used it and the police are looking into it.

Food Allergies

He had a rough day.

The boy's had appointments with the Allergist yesterday. Skyler also has the food Allergies like Kaden. The main one is Egg he had a skin test done on his back so we knew right away as he starting to swell up. They both had blood drawn so we are waiting on the test results for that. They were also testing to see if Kaden's immune system was working properly to see if that is what is causing him to be sick all the time. They both have cold induced Asthma.

Kaden is not doing well in Kindergarten. I went up and talked to the teacher yesterday morning and she said he crys alot and that he does not want to do anything. He won't color, write, play with the other kids and he sits during recess. His counselor called me today and we are working with her to try and help him. He crys every morning begging me not to send him to school. Nobody understands what is going on with him as he went to 2 years of preschool and went to Kindergarten Summer School and was fine.

Skyler has a new tooth on the bottom and another one starting. That will give him 4 on top and 4 on bottom once they come through. He is starting to talk more and can say a few more words. He is very smart and even cleans up his toys by himself. He is still against using a sippy cup but with take a sip here and there. He is not walking and refuses to walk while hold your hand as well. I have a feeling he is just going to take off and start walking one day and surprise everyone. He will be turning 1 next Wednesday Sept.3.

Ok Kaden's bus will be here soon so i have to go and see how the rest of his day went.

Kaden woke up Monday morning not feeling so hot but he was determined to go to school on Tuesday for the first day. He woke up still not feeling well but i gave him some motrin and he went to school. He loved it and did end up going to the nurse but not until 2:30 but they ended up sending him back to class. He gets out at 3:45 so he made it just fine. He went this morning feeling a little better so i hope he has a good day.

Skyler has at least one tooth coming in on the bottom and has caught Kaden's cold. He is pretty miserable and did not sleep well last night as he could not breath through his nose much. Today he just has the snot going everywhere. If he gets any worse i will take him into the doctor as he is at risk since he had the RSV so bad after he was born. Both boys will be going on Monday to see the allergist so hopefully we will find out what each one is allergic to.

Kaden's dental appointment went fine and both him and Skyler will go back in January. Kaden is going this Friday for his Kindergarten Shots i have not told him yet. Update on Boy's

Kaden's Surgery went fine. He was very brave and let the nurse take him away to the surgery room in a wagon. He was fine when we left him and they said when he got back there he was great and had no problems. They said when he was waking up from the medicine he was a little more fiery and we witnessed that when we were reunited with him in the recovery room and it last for the next probably 24 hours. He was given the bubble gum mask that he picked and after he was asleep he was given his IV which apparently they had problems getting in cause his left hand has three poke marks and is all bruised and then the one they finally got in his right hand. They also placed the tube through his nose down his throat and into his wind pipe. They were not able to save his tooth in the very back on the bottom left side. She said there was too much movement in it. So once his 6 year molar comes in which she thinks will come early now we will start watching it to make sure and get it pushed back so that there is space for his back tooth which usually does not come in until around 11. Skyler had his weight check today and has gained 3/4 of a pound. He is still not on the scales but he is right under the lowest percentile. She was plenty happy with that and as long as he does not start to lose weight again we are fine. She did check his snotty nose he has had for two weeks and said his nasal cavity was swollen so she thinks he has allergies and put him on some medicine that should help him.

Just a quick update this evening to let everyone know that Kaden is home and doing well. I actually just got him put down in bed as he was starting to hurt and his throat is sore from the tube they put into his windpipe. I am wiped so will update more with pictures tomorrow.
